About the Role

Cascades is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Representative (Procurement) to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for coordinating the timely delivery of raw materials to our mills, executing supply plans, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serves as the primary liaison between fiber buyers and various departments to coordinate raw material requirements
  • Executes supply plans in collaboration with buyers
  • Issues purchase order releases and ensures accurate tracking and follow-ups
  • Monitors receipt of raw materials at plants and handles quality issues
  • Ensures all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Responds to supplier inquiries and requests in a timely and thorough manner
  • Collaborates with inventory control team to maintain optimal inventory levels

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant customer service experience, procurement, or supply chain experience in the industrial sector
  • Proficient in IT tools, including Microsoft Office suite and cieTrade and/or SAP software packages
  • Customer-oriented approach and excellent communication skills
  • Collaborative spirit and high degree of autonomy
  • Ability to react and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Master of both French and English to communicate with units and partners
