About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Client Advisor, Personal Insurance to join our team at Acera Insurance Services Ltd. in Penticton, BC. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with clients, insurance companies, and colleagues to deliver exceptional client service and exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and changes, as well as service new walk-in and phone-in business.
  • Update and maintain automated forms for new business, endorsements, renewals, and claims.
  • Promote and recommend optimal coverage and additional products available.
  • Collect payments from clients in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Provide back-up support to the front desk as necessary.
  • Provide an outstanding client service experience.
  • Review existing client policies and market as necessary.
Requirements
  • Level 1 BC General Insurance License.
  • Previous experience working in insurance.
  • Experience with Broker Management Systems, various company portals, Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Client-centric approach.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Builds and maintains positive relationships with clients and insurance companies.
  • Courteous and professional manner with clients and co-workers.
