- Screen and direct calls, taking accurate messages and relaying them to the appropriate team members in a timely manner.
- Answer client inquiries, disseminate information, and explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Escalate client matters in a timely and professional manner, as required.
- Ensure a consistent and exceptional experience for clients and prospects through every interaction.
- Schedule and manage advisor/client appointments and events, documenting key information as necessary.
- Handle client requests with advisors and the team within established service level agreements.
- Contribute to the achievement of retention, client happiness, and growth targets for our organization.
- Provide coverage for other support staff as needed.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of client documentation, including account/trade paperwork and financial plans.
- Coordinate client account/trade instructions for creation and completion.
- Provide ongoing feedback to the team to identify opportunities for business improvement.
- Ensure client information is accurately entered into our CRM system.
- 2 years of experience in an advisor/client support role in a financial services/insurance firm.
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field. Completion of or working towards completion of the IFIC, CSC, and/or CPH is preferred.
- Excellent client service skills, with the ability to anticipate client needs and follow up in a timely manner.
- Strong organizational skills and time management, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Office365, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint. Intermediate knowledge of Univeris, Plan Plus, iMost, Croesus, NetRep, and NBCN is a plus.
