We are seeking a skilled Landscape Maintenance Specialist to join our team at RTJ Landscaping. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and integrity of our outdoor spaces. Your primary duties will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
  • Tying and securing plants to ensure they remain healthy and secure.
  • Weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants to maintain their appearance and promote healthy growth.
  • Cutting grass and other vegetation to maintain a neat and tidy appearance.
  • Raking and collecting refuse to keep our outdoor spaces clean and free of debris.
  • Removing litter and garbage to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Carting and spreading topsoil and other materials to maintain the health and appearance of our outdoor spaces.
  • Laying sod or seed to promote healthy growth and maintain a lush appearance.
  • Planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to add beauty and interest to our outdoor spaces.
  • Applying fertilizers to promote healthy growth and maintain the appearance of our outdoor spaces.
  • Watering and tending to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure they remain healthy and thrive.
  • Operating and maintaining landscape maintenance equipment to ensure it remains in good working order.
  • Removing trees to maintain the health and appearance of our outdoor spaces.
Work Environment

As a Landscape Maintenance Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment. You will also be required to work in a variety of weather conditions, including hot and wet/damp conditions.
