We are seeking a skilled Drywall and Acoustical Board Installer Helper to join our team at 2489344 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation of drywall and acoustical boards in various settings.
Key Responsibilities- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
- Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
- Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets to ensure a smooth and even finish.
- Cut materials using power tools or by hand, depending on the project requirements.
- Clean and maintain the work space to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound to achieve a seamless finish.
This role requires the ability to work under pressure and in physically demanding conditions. You will be required to lift and move heavy materials, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
- Reliability and punctuality in attending work and meeting deadlines.
- Previous experience in drywall and acoustical board installation is an asset.
- Ability to work in a green job environment and contribute to positive environmental outcomes.
This is a permanent position, working 30-40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
