Welcome Drywall & Construction Ltd is seeking a skilled Drywall and Acoustical Board Installer Helper to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation of drywall and acoustical boards in various locations.
Responsibilities- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
- Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
- Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
- Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets.
- Cut materials using power tools or by hand.
- Clean and maintain work spaces to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
- Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience is an asset.
- Ability to work at heights, underground, and in confined spaces.
- Willingness to relocate and have relocation costs covered by the employer.
- Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment.
- Physical demands of the job include working under pressure, repetitive tasks, and lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude are essential.
This is a permanent position with a 30-40 hour workweek. The work language is English, and the job involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes.
