Drywall and Acoustical Board Installation Specialist

Welcome Drywall & Construction Ltd is seeking a skilled Drywall and Acoustical Board Installer Helper to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation of drywall and acoustical boards on various construction sites.
Key Responsibilities- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
- Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
- Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
- Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets.
- Cut materials using power tools or by hand.
- Clean and maintain work spaces to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
- Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound.
As a Drywall and Acoustical Board Installer Helper, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying weather conditions. You will be required to work at heights, underground, and in confined spaces. The work site environment can be noisy and dusty, and you must be able to work in these conditions.
Requirements- No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience is an asset.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Physically demanding work requiring the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Flexibility and reliability are essential for this role.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- Relocation costs covered by the employer for willing candidates.
- Permanent work term with 30-40 hours per week.
- English language is the primary language used in the workplace.
