Job Description

We are seeking an Executive Chef to join our team at LA BAIA ITALIAN RESTAURANT. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

The ideal candidate will have excellent culinary skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also be required to train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, as well as maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.

In this role, you will be working under pressure to meet deadlines and ensure that all dishes are prepared to a high standard. You will also be responsible for ordering supplies and equipment, as well as cleaning the kitchen and work areas.

Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent culinary skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads
  • Initiative and flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 per year, plus benefits including permanent employment and 35 hours of work per week. We also offer other benefits such as a flexible schedule and opportunities for career advancement.
