As a Sales and Commercial Finance Intern, you'll work collaboratively with our Financial Services functional areas to drive performance across Canada. You'll be part of an interdisciplinary team that runs and develops the Sales and Commercial Finance business line for a premium automotive OEM.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Gaining hands-on experience by working with our sales, commercial finance, business intelligence, and operations teams.
  2. Assisting in data gathering, organization, and visualization to communicate updates and results to optimize products, programs, and strategies.
  3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand market trends, competitive intelligence, and develop data-based reports and analysis for management.
  4. Preparing, reviewing, and presenting reporting and processing to desired output formats for regular updates, communications, and analysis with senior management.
  5. Driving automation of reports and ensuring accurate data availability in dashboards.
  6. Participating in Retailer events focused on collaboration, value-added content, and relationships with vendors and cross-border functional committee members.
  7. Coordinating and documenting insights from internal meetings and workshops for cross-functional collaboration, business development, and strategic alignment.

Qualifications

  1. Current student or recent graduate in Business Administration, Masters of Business Administration, or comparable studies.
  2. Minimum one-year experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, or IT, with relevant analytics and/or reporting experience preferred.
  3. Strong knowledge in MS Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
  4. Knowledge in data visualization programs like Tableau.
  5. Analytical thinking and knowledge in analyzing and visualizing data.
  6. Fast learner and willingness to work on various team-related topics.
  7. Teamwork and communication skills.
  8. Openness, motivation, and hands-on mentality.
