Job Title: Assistant Manager, Membership Services

At the Shaw Festival Theatre, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Manager to join our Membership Services team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Membership Services Manager while generating revenue through effective communication and donor-centric conversations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Membership Services Manager in achieving revenue targets and patron interaction goals.
  • Communicate the Case for Support of The Shaw's Membership Program to donors and potential donors.
  • Lead the Membership Services team as needed, providing guidance and support to team members.
  • Develop and maintain reports to track staff metrics and fundraising goals.
  • Solicit charitable donations through outbound phone calling, electronic communication, and in-person communication.
  • Act as a supplementary contact for Membership services, resolving donor issues and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Be a resource for Audience Services and Box Office regarding Membership issues and needs.
  • Lead and assist in Membership events, including hosting Post-Show chats and other select Shaw events.
Requirements:
  • Experience in customer service and supervisory skills.
  • Proficient in Excel and data base analytics.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with donors and team members.
  • Strong knowledge of The Shaw Festival and its programs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
