Job Title: Assistant Manager, Membership Services

Join the Shaw Festival Theatre team as an Assistant Manager, Membership Services, and contribute to the success of our Membership Program. As a key member of the Membership Services team, you will play a vital role in generating revenue and supporting the Membership Manager in achieving fundraising goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Membership Manager in developing and implementing strategies to increase membership revenue and retention.
  • Lead the Membership Services team as needed, providing guidance and direction to ensure successful execution of Membership Program initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with donors, members, and stakeholders to build relationships and promote the Shaw Festival's mission and values.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and other tools to track membership metrics and fundraising progress.
  • Solicit charitable donations through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and in-person interactions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to member inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the Audience Services and Box Office teams to ensure seamless communication and support for membership-related matters.
  • Participate in Membership events, including hosting post-show chats and other select Shaw events, to foster engagement and revenue growth.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in customer service, sales, or fundraising, with a strong track record of achieving targets and building relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis, with experience working with databases and tracking metrics.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends, as required.
