About the Role

The Johnston Group Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Strategic HR Partner to join our team. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic guidance to our business leaders and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Align HR initiatives with business objectives to drive employee engagement, culture, and performance.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies to support business growth and development.
  • Provide expert advice on HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Lead projects to enhance the overall effectiveness of HR focus areas.
  • Manage the recruitment process, including job posting, candidate sourcing, and final stages.
Requirements
  • 3+ years' experience in an HR Business Partner or Generalist role.
  • Bachelor's Degree or Human Resources Certificate (CPHR preferred).
  • 3+ years' recruitment experience with demonstrated ability.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Proven ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into HR initiatives.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to prioritize work based on business demands and requirements.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English and French.
  • Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task.
  • Self-starter who is flexible and able to take initiative.
