Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Business Partner to join our team at Johnston Group Inc. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic guidance to business leaders and employees, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives to drive employee engagement, culture, and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide HR guidance and support to business leaders and employees
  • Align HR initiatives with business objectives to drive employee engagement, culture, and performance
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Manage recruitment processes, including job posting and final stages
  • Lead projects to enhance the overall effectiveness of HR focus areas
Requirements
  • 3+ years' experience in an HR Business Partner or Generalist role
  • Bachelor's Degree or Human Resources Certificate (CPHR preferred)
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations
  • Proven ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into HR initiatives
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to prioritize work based on business demands
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English and French
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multi-task
