Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake adjustments, and lubrication
  • Assist in the overhaul of major components and remove/replace major components at the direction of a lead technician or maintenance supervisor
  • Inspect and verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to factory specifications
  • Specialize in repairing and troubleshooting major components, such as engines, transmissions, and differentials
Requirements
  • 2+ years of practical experience with tractor trailer maintenance
  • Current enrollment in an apprentice program or equivalent
  • Maintain membership/registration with respective Government Agencies
  • Will consider candidates with a 310S license or automotive background
  • Proficiency in the use of shop tools required
  • Current driver's license class G or class 5 and the ability to obtain class DZ within 6 months of being hired
