Truck Operations Supervisor - FT Diesel
OverviewFT Diesel is seeking a highly skilled Truck Operations Supervisor to oversee our fleet of diesel-powered vehicles. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in logistics and transportation management.
SalaryThe estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job DescriptionIn this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our trucking fleet, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. Your duties will include:
- Route Planning: Plan and optimize routes to minimize travel time and reduce fuel consumption.
- Fleet Maintenance: Coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure all vehicles are properly serviced.
- Driver Management: Supervise and train drivers to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in logistics, transportation management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the trucking industry.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
