Executive Director Opportunity at Hamilton Urban Core Community Health Centre

Hamilton Urban Core Community Health Centre is a non-profit agency that provides multi-disciplinary interprofessional health care framed by the social determinants of health. We are seeking a seasoned leader to fill the role of Executive Director.

About the Role

The Executive Director will be responsible for leading the organization in its mission to enhance the quality of life in the community. This includes overseeing the delivery of clinical health and therapeutic services, health education programs, counselling services, and support programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the organization in its mission to enhance the quality of life in the community
  • Oversee the delivery of clinical health and therapeutic services, health education programs, counselling services, and support programs
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the health and well-being of the community
  • Build and maintain relationships with community agencies, boards of directors, and government agencies
  • Ensure the organization is operating within anti-racism, anti-discrimination, anti-oppression, and equity frameworks
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven senior management experience in the community health or social services field
  • Demonstrated commitment to and knowledge of community participation and community-based health care or social services
  • Ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with community agencies, boards of directors, and government agencies
  • Demonstrated experience working within anti-racism, anti-discrimination, anti-oppression, and equity frameworks
  • Post-secondary education in health care, public administration, or equivalent, with relevant work experience
What We Offer

Hamilton Urban Core Community Health Centre offers a competitive salary range of $130,000 – $150,000 + benefits. We are a non-profit, charitable, and community-governed organization that values diversity and inclusion.
