About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at RONA. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with customers, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet Customers Warmly: Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all customers, ensuring they feel valued and respected.
  • Assess Customer Needs: Listen attentively to customers' needs and provide personalized advice and recommendations to meet their requirements.
  • Present Merchandise: Showcase products in a compelling and engaging way, highlighting key features and benefits.
  • Contribute to Merchandising: Collaborate with the team to create visually appealing displays and presentations that drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Stay Informed: Stay up-to-date on new products, promotions, and technical applications to provide expert advice and recommendations.
  • Meet Sales Targets: Work closely with the team to achieve sales targets, stay informed of promotions and flyers, and contribute to the achievement of sales goals.
  • Adhere to Policies and Procedures: Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures on loss prevention and health and safety.
Requirements
  • Experience in Sales: Previous experience in a sales role, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service, build strong relationships, and resolve customer complaints.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze customer needs, identify opportunities, and provide tailored solutions.
