Job Purpose

The Service Lot Attendant plays a critical role in maintaining the efficiency and organization of the service department and service lot at Willowdale Subaru. Key responsibilities include ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the service department and service lot, as well as the safe transportation of all dealership/customer vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize vehicles in the service parking lot to ensure optimal space utilization and efficient workflow.
  • Inspect vehicles for damage and verify accessories listed on the invoice to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Transport clients to and from destinations using the dealership's shuttle as requested, prioritizing safety and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare vehicles for delivery and pick up/wash vehicles to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Catalogue and store keys securely to prevent loss or misplacement.
  • Conduct daily inspections of the lot to identify and address any security concerns or issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized lot, ensuring that it remains free from litter and debris.
  • Perform daily cleaning and garbage removal tasks in the shop to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Ensure walkway accessibility during inclement weather to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, such as shuttle driver duties or valet parking tasks.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A valid Ontario G Driver's License is mandatory.
  • A clear Driver's Abstract is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
  • Manual transmission driving experience is essential.
