Job Title: Environmental Services Attendant - Seniors Health CentreThis Part-Time Regular position involves performing general housekeeping activities within the established guidelines for health and safety, infection control, and quality management.
You will work safely in accordance with regulations, have good understanding of chemical and equipment use, and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and residents.
The ideal candidate will have Grade XII diploma or equivalent, previous cleaning experience with microfiber systems, and strong customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform daily housekeeping tasks such as dusting, sweeping, and damp mopping floors
- Collect garbage and replenish supplies
- Strip, disinfect, and make discharged beds ready for new admissions
- Clean resident and non-resident areas as assigned
As an Environmental Services Attendant at NYGH, you will enjoy a highly competitive total compensation package, including pay in lieu of benefits, vacation pay, and the opportunity to join the Hospital Pension Plan.
This role offers flexibility with 8 hour shifts, day and evening shifts, including weekends, in the Seniors Health Centre, Environmental Services department.
Estimated Salary: $25-$30 per hour, based on industry standards and location.
