The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial analysis, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a management controller role. You will be responsible for participating in the development of our annual budget, actively participating in quarterly forecasts, and preparing financial reports and ad hoc analyses to help management make informed decisions.
Responsibilities
* Participate in the development of the company's annual budget by collaborating with different departments
* Actively participate in quarterly forecasts
* Prepare financial reports and ad hoc analyses on various products manufactured to help management make informed decisions
* Closely monitor financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions
* Develop accurate financial forecasts by analyzing historical data, market trends, and operational metrics
* Participate in updating the standard cost in light of new information obtained
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in accounting
* CPA title or equivalent, an asset
* At least 5 years of experience in a management controller role, in accounting or FP&A
* Bilingualism
* Sense of rigor and good management of priorities
* Experience in the manufacturing industry, an asset
