About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at The Village Inn-Elora. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Direct and motivate staff members to ensure seamless operations.
  • Budgeting and Financial Management: Plan and control budget and expenditures to optimize resource allocation.
  • Operations Planning: Organize and coordinate daily operations to meet business objectives.
  • Training and Development: Train and mentor other workers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Office Procedures: Establish and maintain office procedures and routines to ensure efficiency.
  • Contract Management: Oversee the preparation and management of contracts.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare and disseminate reports, and respond to employee inquiries and concerns.
  • Bookkeeping and Record-Keeping: Perform basic bookkeeping tasks and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
