Job Summary

As a ScotiaMcLeod Wealth Management Intern/Co-op, you will provide high-level support to Advisor teams by processing client requests, maintaining client files, and liaising with various areas to remediate client issues. You will also contribute to developing and strengthening prospecting relationships by creating prospect databases, identifying new relationships, and preparing marketing materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Process client requests and open new accounts in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain and document all required client files and information, escalating as necessary.
  • Liaise with various areas to remediate client issues.
  • Support the development and strengthening of prospecting relationships.
  • Contribute to the effective functioning of the Advisor, Branch, and Regional teams.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in post-secondary education.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize risk.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and duties.
  • Experience in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, and MS PowerPoint.
