The Role

We're seeking a co-op student to join our Information Systems team as a system support specialist under the direction of the Manager, IS Applications.

  • You will assist in monitoring production systems, including application logs, and identify problems to prevent negative impacts on application users.
  • You will review, analyze, and update software application documentation, including architectural drawings using Microsoft Visio.
  • You will communicate effectively and demonstrate professional competence with users, co-workers, and management.
  • You will perform software analysis and requirement gathering along with some minor build and test activities.
Your Qualifications
  • You must be currently enrolled in Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or an equivalent program.
  • You must be familiar with various Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Visio.
  • You must have software development training.
  • You must have a valid class 5 BC driver's license.
