Closing the Gap Healthcare is dedicated to delivering exceptional care to Canadians through a wide range of home-based and community setting services. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be part of a dynamic team that values flexibility and adaptability.

This role requires an integrated approach to therapy services, with a focus on improving the well-being of clients in their homes. You will work closely with colleagues from diverse backgrounds, fostering a culture of inclusivity and diversity. Our Occupational Therapists enjoy an environment that encourages creativity and problem-solving skills.

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist who can bring their expertise in developing health promotion programs, prescribing equipment and supplies, and promoting client safety. This includes assessing and building accurate therapy care plans based on the client's real environment. Creativity and adaptability are essential in this role, as you will exert critical thinking to provide complex preventative or corrective actions for clients with diverse needs.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to partner with clients' family members, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals regarding treatment goals and service plans. Our hybrid model of care, including face-to-face and virtual interactions, allows you to build a schedule that works for you and your clients.

Closing the Gap Healthcare values an independent and flexible OT while providing a dedicated support, mentorship, and training system with a stable team from multiple disciplines. We offer a competitive Total Compensation package, including a salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include RRSP Matching, Vacation Pay, Time-off, Group benefits, and opportunities for professional development and growth.
