Client Solutions Manager, Business Development Expert

About the Role
As a Client Solutions Manager at Gallagher, you will play a key role in driving business growth and delivering exceptional client service to our Small Medium Enterprise (SME) clients. Reporting to the Director of Client Solutions, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, driving the renewal cycle, and building strong relationships with insurers and marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support a designated portfolio of SME clients, providing outstanding service and driving business retention.
- Evaluate accounts at renewal, taking the necessary steps to place coverage required by the client, re-marketing when necessary, and adhering to binding authority set out by carriers.
- Respond to client inquiries quickly and efficiently, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Recognize upselling and cross-selling opportunities, driving the creation of quality leads, and working with Account Executives to bind clients.
- Stay up-to-date with new products and policy updates, consistently acting to upgrade insurance market knowledge.
- Work with Account Executives on cross-selling opportunities and accessing resources within Gallagher.
About You
We are looking for a solution-oriented individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills, who can develop deep relationships with clients and build partnerships with colleagues quickly. You should be able to prioritize tasks, exceed client expectations, and maintain a keen eye for detail. A background in commercial insurance brokering, preferably with experience in complex policies, is ideal. Relevant certifications, such as CAIB, CIP, or CRM, are highly valued. A RIBO License and knowledge of EPIC are also considered assets.
