Part-Time Elementary Teacher/Tutor Opportunity

Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. is currently seeking a qualified Elementary Education Assistant to join our team at our Orangeville location.

This part-time role is ideal for an individual with a passion for teaching and learning, who enjoys working with students in grades K-8. As an Elementary Education Assistant, you will be responsible for providing academic support and guidance to students, helping them achieve their full potential.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, patient, and able to communicate effectively with students of all skill levels. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

The position requires a commitment to providing high-quality instruction and support to students, while maintaining a positive and respectful classroom environment.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is $18 - $20 per hour, with opportunities for professional growth and development. As an Elementary Education Assistant, you will also receive ongoing training and support to help you succeed in your role.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in a relevant field (e.g., education, child development)
  • Experience teaching or tutoring students in grades K-8
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to multitask and work independently

About the Role

This is a part-time opportunity with flexible scheduling to accommodate students' needs. You will work directly with students, providing one-on-one instruction and support in a dynamic and engaging learning environment.

Estimated Salary: $37,760 - $41,600 per year (based on 20 hours per week)
