We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our team at the Nova Scotia Health Authority. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients in a hospital or medical facility setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide respiratory care to patients, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy.
- Assess patients' respiratory status and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Conduct pulmonary function tests and interpret results.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field.
- Current registration with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT).
- Experience in a hospital or medical facility setting is an asset.
