We seek an experienced Quality Control Technician to join our Cambridge, ON facility.

Job Summary

To ensure compliance with the BWXT quality program on Field Services projects, providing independent verification of quality-related inspections.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform moderately complex technical assignments in support of ongoing quality programs.
  • Conduct quality control duties on projects/sites, including monitoring processes via MITPs, ensuring procedure adherence during project execution, verifying and maintaining training records electronically, and performing NDE-related responsibilities where union jurisdictions allow.
  • Work may be performed in a radiological environment.
  • Inspect materials and perform in-process checks to ensure compliance with BWXT standards, technical specifications, and the ASME code.
  • Assist with reviewing and completing Work Packages/History Dockets and procedure/MITP reviews.
  • Perform vendor source inspections as required.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary NDE/Quality Technologist diploma or related education.
  • 3-5 years industry experience required.
  • CGSB Liquid Penetrant Level 2 Certification.
  • CWB Level 1 or 2 Certification would be an asset.
  • Familiarity with the ASME Code.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and radiation environments.
  • Willingsness to work nights, weekends, and Statutory Holidays.
