Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Circle K Convenience Store and Gas Station. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the store, including supervising sales floor staff, managing inventory, and maintaining a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities of Workers: Lead and motivate a team of sales floor staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Ensure that sales floor staff are assigned to tasks that align with their skills and abilities, and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Hire and Train or Arrange for Training of Staff: Recruit, train, and develop sales floor staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
- Manage Inventory: Oversee the receipt, storage, and sale of merchandise, ensuring that inventory levels are maintained and that stock is rotated regularly.
- Authorize Return of Merchandise: Process returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure that the store is adequately staffed during peak periods.
- Prepare Reports on Sales Volumes, Merchandising and Personnel Matters: Analyze sales data and provide insights to management on sales trends, inventory levels, and staff performance.
- Resolve Issues that May Arise: Address customer complaints, resolve supply chain issues, and make decisions to ensure the smooth operation of the store.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail or customer service environment.
- Language: English.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
