Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Team Lead to join our team in London. As a key member of our AML team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of professionals in executing AML processes as per client contracts.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in AML or financial crime-related roles, with a strong understanding of FINTRAC guidelines, PCMLTFA/R, and FATF recommendations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of professionals in executing AML processes as per client contracts.
  • Conduct briefings before every shift to drive focus on key metrics and debrief at the end of the shift to drive focus of the team on quality and adherence to contract compliance processes.
  • Prepare notes from huddle meetings and share them with the team.
  • Prepare and share the team's performance with the client at the end of the shift.
  • Interact with the client and prepare notes to share updates and changes with the team.
  • Review the performance on key process metrics and conduct RCA to improve quality parameters.
  • Prepare presentations on weekly and monthly performance data to be shared with the client.
  • Collaborate and influence internal key stakeholders to manage and resolve issues to ensure fulfillment and flawless delivery of projects.
  • Organize fun hours on Friday for the team to promote team engagement.
  • Identify opportunities for automation within the account and share them with the manager.
  • Provide details and data to the automation team to support the automation initiative.
  • Provide feedback and coach outliers/low performers to improve their performance metrics.
  • Prepare a Performance summary to document and support low performers.
Requirements
  • 5+ years in relevant AML or financial crime-related roles required.
  • Knowledge of FINTRAC guidelines, PCMLTFA/R, and FATF recommendations.
  • Proficient with FINTRAC guidelines.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Team management and coaching.
  • Good communication skills.
Salary Information

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $47.50 per hour.
