Harm Reduction Services Team Lead

AVI Health and Community Services is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Harm Reduction Services Team Lead to join our team. As a Harm Reduction Services Team Lead, you will be responsible for providing supervision and support to our HOPS and DOPES Teams, while also delivering low-barrier harm reduction services and supports to individuals and communities marginalized from equitable social and health care services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support staff to deliver harm reduction services and supports
- Develop and deliver educational programming and peer-based skill building
- Provide on-the-spot training and debriefing supports
- Engage with service users in a collaborative, person-centered approach grounded in harm reduction
- Maintain the safety of all program spaces
Requirements:
- Diploma in health or social services or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of three years' relevant work experience providing harm reduction-based supports
- Supervisory experience in a front-line social service agency working with individuals who use substances
