Challenger Motor Freight Inc is a leading transportation company looking for talented Business Development Managers to join our team.
SalaryThe estimated annual salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 based on industry standards and the company's requirements.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking experienced Business Development Managers who can effectively source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as solid computer skills, time management, attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Sourcing new sales opportunities
- Understanding customer needs and requirements
- Identifying Sales Prospects for further development and closure
- Closing sales and achieving quarterly quotas
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A proven track record of over-achieving quota in the Transportation industry (TL Sales)
- Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
- Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM software
- Effective teamwork skills and ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities
- Strong communication, customer service and computer skills
