Job Description

**Job Title:** EMEA Head of Finance

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled EMEA Head of Finance to join our team at Airside. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the finance functions and providing strategic financial guidance to the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the finance team to support the General Manager in managing and controlling the business, ensuring effective financial operations and administrative functions.
  • Implement and maintain proper financial systems, processes, and procedures to ensure efficient finance and administration functions.
  • Develop and implement internal controls and management of documentation to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations and accounting standards.
  • Manage and maintain proper books of accounts and accounting records.
  • Control and manage company funds, including bank accounts and cash flow reporting.
  • Prepare and present monthly business results and management accounts to the General Manager, Group CFO, and the Board of Directors.
  • Support the General Manager in preparing budgets, business plans, financial analysis, and controlling performance against budgets.
  • Execute audits, liaise with auditors, and coordinate with other 3rd party service providers.
  • Submit VAT returns and comply with other fiscal legislation.
  • Process payroll and comply with all laws and regulations relating to salaries and Labour Law.
  • Perform inter-company reconciliations with Group Companies.
  • Provide support to the General Manager on other projects and business exigencies.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in finance department managerial roles with at least 8 years' experience in a finance management position.
  • Recognized international qualification and warrant to practice as an Accountant.
  • Proven experience and expertise in financial control and financial reporting.
  • Experience in working in multi-national groups and multi-cultural environments.
  • Good grasp of local fiscal laws and regulations and laws regulating payroll processing in the UAE.
  • Hands-on, able to work on own initiative, and team player.
  • Multi-task and manage different deadlines and priorities.
  • Experience in the Aviation industry and working with Business Central or Microsoft NAV is an asset.
