Job Summary
This role provides essential project management assistance to the Finance Division. The specialist will collaborate with team members to identify their requirements, monitor the execution of plans, and coordinate testing for IT initiatives. Additionally, support will be extended to Finance users utilizing Oracle Financials, Business Objects, and Head-Office reporting, ensuring effective communication with the IT department for enhancements and the development of automated reports for Finance Division personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Advocate for Finance users in various projects.
- Develop finance applications under the guidance of the Head of Projects & Administration, utilizing tools such as MS Office, SQL, VBA, and Python.
- Provide technical support for financial applications including Oracle Financials, Leasequery, and Business Objects.
- Conduct application testing and document procedures for financial applications that are supported or created.
- The ideal candidate will possess a foundational understanding of the operations within the finance division.
- Update data references in Oracle Financial.
- Collaborate with the accounting department to close monthly periods.
- Act as the administrator for the procurement tool across the Americas.

• Bachelor in Management Information Systems or Data Analytics.

Experience
The candidate should have 3 to 5 years of experience supporting similar teams in their daily operations, particularly with Business Objects and Oracle Financials. The ideal individual will be meticulous and self-sufficient, maintaining a clear audit trail of tasks and developing comprehensive procedures.
• Proficiency in both French and English.
• 3-4 years of programming experience.
• 2 years of experience with VBA and Python.
• 1 year of experience with SQL.
• Programming skills are essential, along with knowledge of BusinessObjects and Oracle Financials support.
• Basic accounting knowledge is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology is preferred.
• Working knowledge of MS Office application development, especially Excel and MS Access, as well as Python.
• Experience with Leasequery or similar software is a plus.
• Previous experience in banking or a finance department is beneficial.
• Advanced programming skills and IT support experience are required.
• Experience using BusinessObjects (or similar tools) for data extraction.
