Position Overview
Summary
The Finance Division is seeking a dedicated professional to provide project management assistance. This role involves collaborating with team members to identify their requirements, overseeing the execution of implementation strategies, and coordinating testing phases for IT initiatives.
Additionally, the role includes offering support to Finance personnel on Oracle Financials, Business Object, and Head-Office reporting. This entails liaising with the IT department for enhancements and aiding in the creation, modification, and maintenance of automated reports for Finance Division staff.
The Associate will maintain an updated reference of applications, including signature authority.
The position reports directly to the Head of Projects & Administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Advocate for Finance users in various projects
- Develop financial applications under the guidance of the Head of Projects & Administration, utilizing development tools such as MS Office, SQL, VBA, and Python.
- Provide technical support for financial applications, including Oracle Financials, Leasequery, and Business Objects.
- Conduct application testing and prepare documentation for financial applications that are supported or developed.
- The ideal candidate should possess a foundational understanding of the operations within the financial division.
- Update the data reference in Oracle Financials.
- Collaborate with the accounting department to close monthly financial periods.
- Serve as the administrator for the procurement tool across the Americas.
Management and Reporting
This position reports to the Head of Projects and Administration.
