Your primary responsibility will be to collect shopping carts from various locations and return them to a safe storage area. Additionally, you will be expected to provide excellent customer service, respond promptly to requests, and ensure a safe and clean work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect shopping carts from cart corrals, parking lots, and store perimeters and return them to a designated storage area.
- Assist customers with carry outs or carry ins, verify receipts for proof of purchase, and respond to requests at all registers.
- Perform occasional cleaning and maintenance of restrooms, handle chemicals, and follow correct disposal procedures.
- Adhere to safety and emergency procedures, including hazardous communications, lockout/tagout, and blood-borne pathogens.
- Maintain the Cart Retrieval Log at the Customer Service Desk.
- Contribute to a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by following company policies and procedures.
- Promote safety by wearing personal protective equipment, such as steel-toe footwear and reflective vests.
- Complete safety sweeps as required.
Requirements:
- Age: 16 or older.
