The ideal candidate will provide leadership to a multi-disciplined team, plan and manage projects to ensure that all contractual commitments are met on time and within budget on large-scale healthcare projects. The successful candidate will use their strong interpersonal and leadership skills, paired with solid financial acumen to determine required resources, monitor project performance, and forecast revenue for successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate, develop, monitor, and control the scope of deliverables, work plans, schedules, and budgets for all project stages.
  • Work with Operations Manager in determining project staffing needs and recommending team members, coordinate staffing and workload through the entire project life cycle to ensure completion of deliverables on schedule.
  • Develop a detailed work plan for all architectural disciplines, allocate hours to the work plan, and monitor project progress.
  • Lead an integrated team of architects in the quality assurance and quality control procedures for all deliverables, specifically the construction drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinate with contractor, sub-consultants, and/or relevant building authorities to address and document issues with constructability or owner concerns.
  • Act as the primary liaison with the client, contractor, and project team and ensure close client relationships are maintained.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10 years of architectural project work experience.
  • Minimum 7 years experience in large complex projects experience.
  • Must have client management and business plan management experience.
  • Familiarity with PMI framework and standard industry practices for project management.
  • Architectural systems design and presentation, permit and building code.
  • Experience in strategic development, project management, and client management is required.
  • Possess excellent leadership, interpersonal skills, flexibility, and resourcefulness.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A strong understanding of project accounting is required in order to monitor project performance and forecast revenue.
