Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team in Vancouver. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving the successful completion of high-priority projects and leading cross-functional teams to deliver results-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive prioritization and successful completion of key projects in flight and plan/initiation of new projects for ledger product team.
  • Accountable alongside the team for the achievement of release objectives and results that meet Product owners needs and expectations.
  • Motivate, coach and mentor teams through continuous improvement through agile best practices and NextGen technology strategy encouraging growth of key technology strategy (Cloud, re-use of APIs and code repositories, DevOps, Quality Engineering including Automation).
  • Report team progress and accomplishment up and across. Facilitate status updates (including project financials and running concurrent Agile/IWF projects in a fast-paced work environment), product demos and retrospectives.
  • Remove impediments to deliver outcomes and results through proactive management of external dependencies, critical thinking/problem solving, and development of new solutions or approaches to ongoing challenges.
  • Oversee financials and staffing levels to efficiently meet project delivery requirements and tracks value for effective decision-making.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree coupled with change management experience in complex programs with high frequency of requests and multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation skills. Ability to determine the information and communication needs of the stakeholders and project.
  • Strong organizational, project management and time management capabilities.
  • A strong understanding of technology and/or financial services industry.
  • Deadline-driven and results-oriented; able to meet consistently high quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
