About the Opportunity

At ICONIX, we are seeking an experienced and results-driven Strategic Business Growth Manager to drive sales growth in the mining market. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a passion for sales, customer satisfaction, and building strong relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate new business opportunities and manage existing relationships with consulting engineers within the mining industry.
  • Develop a comprehensive business plan for HDPE Sales, focusing on sales, revenue, and expense controls, with a goal of achieving significant growth.
  • IDentify new market opportunities for business expansion, staying up-to-date with industry trends and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and other team members to grow municipal, industrial, and HDPE sales, providing information, price quotes, processing orders, and ensuring efficient delivery.
  • Provide HDPE quoting services for large integrated projects and standalone sales, visiting job sites as needed to assist with installations or address fusion issues.
  • Meet with Municipalities and Engineering groups to achieve HDPE specification approval, expand available market, and increase ICONIX market share.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma and 5 years' related experience.
  • Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies, customer relationship management, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A valid Driver's License and exceptional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to make a significant impact on the business.
  • Sales planning and territory management skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strong work ethic.
