Job Title: Executive Culinary Director
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Executive Culinary Director to join our team at Scanway Catering Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
- Develop and implement new cooking techniques and train our cooking staff.
- Supervise the activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers.
- Create new recipes and menus that meet our quality standards.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards.
Requirements:
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Other trades certificate or diploma.
- Excellent oral communication skills.
- Dependability, initiative, and reliability.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
Work Setting:
- Urban area.
- Catering firm.
- Hotel, motel, resort.
Language: English
Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
Work Term: Permanent
