Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the continuous monitoring and support of IT infrastructure elements including networks, virtualization, cloud services, servers, storage solutions, and backup systems.
- Assess and prioritize IT infrastructure incidents and events.
- Conduct detailed troubleshooting and documentation of complex IT infrastructure issues.
- Supervise planned modifications to the IT infrastructure.
- Facilitate incident resolution within the IT infrastructure framework.
- Collaborate with specialized teams for IT infrastructure troubleshooting.
- Manage escalation processes through established protocols.
- Generate reports on priority incidents.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Datadog, SCOM, and IT service management tools like ServiceNow is advantageous.
- Experience in troubleshooting, utilizing Standard Operating Procedures and Knowledge Base articles for initial troubleshooting, and following escalation protocols for further technical assistance.
Essential Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Networking, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or Computer Science.
- Relevant certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, or Juniper (e.g., MCSE, Azure, CCNA, JNCIA).
- Strong foundational knowledge of Network and Server Operations.
- Alignment with the core values of the organization.
