Job Summary:

Madison-Davis, LLC is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our financial risk management function, with a focus on credit risk and portfolio management. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing robust risk management policies, procedures, and frameworks that align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the credit risk management function, with a particular emphasis on portfolio management.
  • Develop and implement risk management policies, procedures, and frameworks that align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Perform portfolio deep dives and analysis to assess risk exposures, identify emerging risks and opportunities, and optimize risk-return trade-offs.
  • Collaborate closely with senior management, business units, and stakeholders to support strategic decision-making and risk management.
  • Participate in annual risk appetite refresh, including establishing, back testing, and calibrating credit and portfolio metrics, limits, and key risk indicators (KRIs).
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of risk metrics, KRIs, and risk appetite metrics to senior management and relevant committees.
  • Lead the development and implementation of stress testing, scenario analysis, and sensitivity testing frameworks to assess the resilience of our portfolios under various economic scenarios.
  • Support long- and short-term planning, new product development, and risk management meetings.
  • Network within the industry to stay abreast of emerging risk trends and credit products.
  • Provide strategic guidance and direction to the team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with regulators, auditors, and external partners to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and audit standards.
