Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our sales efforts in the Minerals Americas region. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic partnerships, and building a high-performing sales team.
About the Role
The Sales Director will report directly to the Regional Manager and will be responsible for:
- Developing and executing a sales strategy that drives revenue growth and expands our market share in the Minerals Americas region.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and suppliers.
- Leveraging industry expertise to identify new business opportunities and develop tailored solutions to meet client needs.
- Recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing sales team to achieve business objectives.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive sales initiatives and ensure seamless execution.
- Maintaining accurate sales records and reporting on performance metrics to inform business decisions.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a related field.
- At least 15 years of experience in the mining industry, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and building successful sales teams.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to think strategically and make informed business decisions.
