Mental Health Account Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Mental Health Account Manager to join our national team at Lundbeck Canada. This is a permanent full-time position based in the Saguenay, Quebec South Shore and Quebec East territory.
Your Position:
The Mental Health Account Manager is responsible for achieving territory sales objectives for Lundbeck promoted products in Psychiatry. This includes implementing a territory plan of action, conducting field call activities, and promoting Lundbeck psychiatry and partnered products and services to hospitals, clinics, and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve territory sales objectives for Lundbeck promoted products in Psychiatry.
- Implement territory plan of action, including field call activities as established by the sales and marketing teams for each defined cycle.
- Fully understand and promote Lundbeck psychiatry and partnered products and services to hospitals, clinics, and healthcare providers, using sales cycle promotional material in an efficient, professional and compliant manner.
- In accordance with the sales function plan and the National Business Manager, develop and revisit regularly a territory business plan and implement key tactics to maximize selling efforts, optimize growth opportunities and achieve sales.
- Manage field budget adequately to optimize reach and targeted customer interaction.
- Execute tailored call preparation and call review process in alignment with the Lundbeck selling model in order to engage customers towards the solutions in our portfolio that meet their needs.
- Through an account management approach, continuously gather insights in territory through interactions with customers and adapt tactics accordingly.
- Collaborate with sales team members and other cross-functional partners -including marketing, training, business effectiveness and medical teams- to offer tailored solutions and maximize psychiatry product(s) potential and sales.
- Effectively implement needs-based, certified programs (CHEs) and other learning activities (OLAs) as per cycle plan of action and follow-up to optimize impact.
- Work closely with the Medical Science Liaison and Medical Education teams to identify educational opportunities and develop advocacy in territory.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences or business administration
- A minimum of five (5) years of sales experience in the Canadian pharmaceutical industry, including experience in the CNS field
- Proficient to engage customers by leveraging scientific data on product with clarity using promotional tools and approved clinical trials
- Strong understanding of hospital business and influence mapping
- Proven track record of promoting multiple products and managing clients in specialty markets
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills
- French required, Bilingualism English/French to communicate with colleagues accross Canada would be an asset
- Familiar with the use of technology (iPad, apps, CRM, etc.) including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, ect.) and virtual tools (Zoom, Teams)
- Must have a valid driving licence in Canada
