Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounting Technician to join our team at Group ID. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing various financial tasks and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Manage accounts payable, including supplier invoices, expense accounts, purchase orders, and payments, to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Invoicing and Client Communication: Manage invoicing and communication with clients to ensure prompt payment and resolution of any issues.
  • Accounts Receivable: Manage the accounts receivable collection process to ensure timely payment from clients.
  • Payroll Administration: Perform payroll duties, including processing payrolls, managing employee benefits, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliation and match with bank statements to ensure accuracy and detect any discrepancies.
  • Year-End Reporting: Prepare year-end government statements, including tax returns and other required filings.
Required Qualifications
  • Accounting and Financial Knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry standards.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar accounting role, with a proven track record of managing financial tasks and ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Zoho software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English and French, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
