Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Trillium Health Partners. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Job Summary:

The Inpatient Medicine & ICU Program at Trillium Health Partners is a leading provider of complex medicine care in the Mississauga-Halton LHIN. Our team of interprofessional healthcare professionals work together to deliver exceptional patient care, and we are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to patients within an interprofessional environment, including assessment, treatment, teaching, and education.
  • Teach and coach patients and families to promote healthy behaviors and self-care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a recognized college or school of nursing.
  • Registered in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) or currently meet the eligibility criteria to register in good standing in the Temporary Class or General Class with the CNO.
  • Able to function to the full scope of practice as per CNO.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • Experience working with acute care medicine patient populations, including respirology, nephrology, cardiology patients requiring telemetry monitoring, and geriatric patients.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Baccalaureate degree in Nursing.
  • Minimum of two years acute care medical/surgical experience.
  • Completion of a physical assessment course.
  • Experience working with Meditech and/or Sunrise Clinical Manager clinical application systems.
