">Job Summary
">We seek a seasoned Regulatory Affairs Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer & Vice President, Finance, this role will oversee regulatory activities and manage the day-to-day functions of the Regulatory Affairs Department.
">Main Responsibilities

Strategic Guidance
">Provide support to VP, Finance in developing recommendations for executive management on regulatory strategy, policy, compliance, and communications.
">">Regulatory Oversight
">Assess alternative regulatory options where the utility is involved and recommend the optimum approach for the Company.
">">Submission Preparation
">Prepare thorough, persuasive evidence and argument for submission to the Ontario Energy Board in support of the Company's applications for rates, licences, and regulatory rule-making proceedings.
">">Company Representation
">Prepare and/or review Company submissions in support of interventions in external regulatory proceedings, regulator consultations on codes and guidelines, and other matters with significant regulatory content.

Rates and Regulatory Applications
">Prepare thorough, clear, and persuasive narrative evidence and argument in support of Corporate positions. Provide company representation/testimony, case management, witness preparation and support, and liaison with external counsel as appropriate.
">">Five-Year Annual Business Plans and Quarterly Forecasts
">Prepare the Five-Year Annual Business Plans and Quarterly Forecasts, including:

Regulatory Affairs Department Budget
">Distribution Revenue Budget
">Energy Revenue
">Cost of Power
">Regulatory Asset and Liabilities
">Compliance Interpretation
">Interpret and apply existing and proposed regulatory legislation, codes, guidelines, and market rules.
">">External Representation
">Represent the Corporation in external stakeholder proceedings and consultations sponsored by the OEB, the IESO, and other industry participants.
">">Regulatory Policy Support
">Provide expert regulatory advice internally to key managers in the Corporation.
">">Documentation and Record Keeping
">Manage record-keeping activities to facilitate timely and accurate submission of Regulatory documents and maintain records for internal and external review.
">">Leadership and Collaboration
">Share a compelling and inspired vision and strategy for Customer Experience and the Billing department, generating commitment and alignment among people.
">">Negotiation and Communication
">Actively listen for underlying nuances and messages, collaborate to build consensus, manage and/or resolve conflicts, and reach mutually agreeable outcomes.
">">Experience and Qualifications
">8+ years of related experience in a management role.
">">
Salary Range
">$90,000 - $110,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience).
