Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on early morning and afternoon shifts. As a key member of our nursing department, you will provide expert care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities
  • Nursing Care: Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents, following established policies and procedures, physician's orders, and resident plans of care.
  • Clinical Assessment: Conduct thorough clinical assessments to identify residents' needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Medication Management: Safely administer medications, maintain accurate records, and adhere to protocols for controlled substances.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal resident outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent degree.
  • Licensure: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
  • Certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification and valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with Long Term Care Act, Program Standards for Long Term Care, and relevant Federal, Provincial, and Municipal statues.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. We offer a competitive benefits package, including opportunities for professional growth and development.
