Job Title: Dual Food

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading our front-of-house operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage staff service activities, resources, budget, and scheduling
  • Supervise and mentor the team; conduct recruitment, training, task allocation, and performance evaluation
  • Contribute to the menu and ensure that front-of-house offerings are of the highest caliber
  • Maintain and promote updated knowledge of company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with management and coordinates food and beverage service for special events

Requirements:

  • 1 to 2 years experience in restaurant supervision or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • The ability to obtain registration with either the BCLC, AGLC, or AGCO (based on province)
  • FOODSAFE Level 1 Certificate (In BC) / Mini Food Safety Course (In Alberta)
  • DealUs In training completed prior to start date (In Alberta)
  • Leadership skills – able to direct and supervise staff
  • Customer service skills – able to exceed guest expectations
  • Able to lift up to 15 pounds
