About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Vendor Management Specialist to join our Video Games team at Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing strategic and established brands to drive profitability and topline performance for our category.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to improve value, selection, and convenience for customers.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional partners to drive performance for our vendor partners.
  • Conduct detailed analysis to identify opportunities to drive growth for the vendor and Amazon.
  • Work cross-functionally with other product, marketing, and operations teams to raise the bar on customer experience.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in retail, operations, product or program management, or business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results experience.
  • Knowledge of Excel and extracting data through varied reporting tools to drive and influence business decisions.
  • Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and product development.
  • Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing large data sets and utilizing data to drive performance and process improvements.
  • Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and product development.
  • Experience with the Video Games industry and customer.
